22/5/13 Jacob is a little upset and his confidence is taking a knock he has only had 208 views as opposed to the 26385 for the Zetor ploughing on Youtube. He has promised that if he gets 500 views and 10 likes by the end of June he will do another video, so please give him some encouragement and go on Youtube.com and search for "Zetor salesman Jacob".

10/5/13 Seen left this now classic John Deere 2140 with loader and bucket has just come back in part ex for a Zetor tractor and loader. Bit muddy as I have been rolling the fields with her, but shows she works well. Also came in today pictured right is a cracking Dieci Agris Star 37.7 with 128HP, air con, air seat, boom suspension, reverse fan, 160lpm hyd pump, 7.35m lift height, 3700kg lift capacity all in a very compact comfortable machine.

26/3/13 Why do sheep always lamb at night? Still can't complain had two twins so far. Always amazes me that straight away the lambs are up on there feet and suckling, one last night was sucking within 10 minutes. Dum dum is going to be last suprise suprise.

14/3/13 Can't get the machines through the workshop quick enough. Have a Takeuchi TB125 nearly finished, will be like a new one. Pics on the used page in the next few days.

Sold all the Takeuchi TB125's we had in have another coming in end of this week. Picked up a nice Forterra 95 year 2010 with only 200 hours on clock farmer bought it and then rented out the land hence the low hours. Have a look on the used page.

Spring is in the air, frogspawn is in the ponds and ditches. Just got into bed last night heard the fencer shorting out, whilst sorting that out heard and saw the frogs laying there eggs not to amused to be floodlit with the torch. There is quite a bit around in the ponds and ditches this morning. Last year some of the frogspawn looked like it was going to loose all its water just as the tadpoles were hatching. Do you remember that dry weather? They were soon saved by the downpour that doesn't seem to have stopped since.

Went to the Lamma show yesterday and had a look at the new Major 80 Zetor tractor. Looks really good. They also had a round baler to gauge peoples view on a lighter round baler. It was a bit chilly as you can see. Click HERE for more info.

Already wednesday tomorrow what a busy week this is. Anyone following us on twitter or facebook will realise that the Rhodedendrum eater is now called Dumdum and seems to be back to full health. Got some great bargains on concrete road forms this week on any size but example 3m x 6" with square corner, 3 wedges, plugged expansion holes laps at ends @ £41.85 +vat each 18" x 7/8" pins £1.74 each. Any quantity even if you want one. Collect from yard.

I'm no sheep farmer should leave it to the experts, got some sheep in the week to keep down the grass, let them have the run of the field and the garden all the grass they could eat. One of them has to try a rodendrum. I know sheep live to die as I had some when I was a boy, but what planks. She is looking better hopefully she'll recover and still go on to have healthy lambs.

You may have noticed the little twitter bird at the top of the page. I don't know what I am doing with it yet but we are now tweeting and facebooking. Haven't got around to putting the facebook motiff up yet but you can search for Machine Serve and you should find it. I have noticed that my family sit watching tv with there phones, texting, tweeting and facebooking. When you turn the tv chanel over about 5 minutes later you get "I was watching that", everyone to there own. I am in a minority so thought I would give this new fangled twitter and facebook a go nothing ventured nothing gained. Send me a tweet make my day.

10/12/12 South Molton Christmas fat Stock Show

I took our latest Zetor Forterra 135 with Enorossi Combi 420 rake down to South Molton yesterday. I have to say we were the only dealer that used a bit of Christmas spirit on our machine with a bit of tinsel. Spoke to some nice people, wandered around the market, got cold and came home. Sorry that I haven't put much news up over the last month we've been really busy sold 8 tractors last month which is outstanding for us.

Went to a Zetor conference in Coventry today. Lots of exciting developments ahead, Zetor have a really positive, straight talking attitude with a great team. They really want to push the Zetor forwards in the UK and are giving dealers the tools to enable us to achieve sales. Come and put us to the test on Sat Nov 3rd.

OPEN DAY 3 November Saturday 9.30-4.30

This was the sight I was greeted with this morning before going into the office to write this update. What a good omen, as thats the field that we hope to be ploughing in, an even better omen for the owner of the field. Please join us for our open day Saturday 3 November from 9.30am untill 4.30pm. We have Zetor's roadshow which includes working demos of Zetor tractors with a plough and a Teagle power harrow, loader driving course with prize (weather permitting). Just added two David Brown 995 tractors on the used page with a youtube video link. Its very busy at the moment and hopefully will be busy through the winter we usually are busy with servicing of telehandlers over the next few months. Most people are starting to think about having a service now and check over all there machines antifreeze levels. We have plenty of antifreeze in stock so don't hold back.

I was glad to see my neighbour had a good sale. I only saw 3 lots sold as i only had 5 minutes before i was summened back to the yard but £475 plus 10% buyers premium for a worn yard scrape what is the matter with you guys you get far too excited at sales. You can have a brand new one and galvanised for £680 that is better built. Or one similar to the one sold new just painted for £550 please give me a call next time, I can save you a small fortune.

Fantastic news today. Hanix is back in the race after a period of struggling with the aftermath of the tsunami in Japan. A new batch of stock with competitive priceing. I will be updating our used (stock) page with some really good prices over the next few days

Having taken on extra staff to further enhance our service side to give back up to the introduction of Zetor, we have introduced from the start of July our winter rates early this year contact us for excellent rates and benift your pocket.

The Zetor Forterra 135 is busy doing demonstrations and is a very impressive tractor is highly specd well powered and well priced, It only has 70 hours on at the moment and has about ten demos lined up. The new price of the 135 is £38000 but with a full set of weights we are letting this girl go at £36000 with three years full warranty.

Must be the year for bale sqeeze, selling like hot cakes only one left in stock. Lots of people commented at the shows how well built the Hall was compared to the others they had looked at.
